My Name is Mark Fox, I'm from Dunedin in the South island of New Zealand. When I was 5 I took a self portrait in a mirror with my dad's camera and that was the start of my love of photography. I have been a member on DA for 8 years (this is my second account) I can't remember how I found it. I am currently not working but I do make a little from various photography jobs

Fungi and Geology Photography!
Fungi photography is a subset of APN that that turns a common forest dweller into artistic beauty. This is the category you want to explore if you're looking for fungus, be it mushrooms and molds. Geology photography is one of the most underutilized subcategories of APN! Geology photography can contain photographs of geologic structures such as volcanoes, caves, and mountain ranges. It could include something smaller like gemstones embedded with larger rock masses or crystalline sands. The photographers who submit to these categories may seem like they are limited in what they can photograph but the creative possibilities are endless!
